The medium of instruction is English and great care is taken to develop fluency and accuracy in the language. The importance of Hindi and regional languages is stressed and a high standard of proficiency is developed in these languages. The School prepares boys and girls for the examinations (X, XII) conducted by C.B.S.E. Delhi.
At the Senior Secondary level the school has Science (Med./ Non Med.) and commerce streams, P C M, and Economics, Business studies and Accountancy respectively and an option of taking computer science or physical education.


The school has well equipped Physics, Chemistry, Biology laboratories and a language lab. Extensive use of audiovisual aids is made in teaching. Computer studies are compulsory from Class I to X. The teaching is not confined only to the walls of classrooms but is also impacted by physically taking the students to Banks, Post offices, Railway station, Research Institutes, Trade Fairs other Public Utilities and Industries.

Highly qualified experienced and dedicated staff is employed, who besides being well trained to instruct in the classroom, are genial and co-operative and always available to help the children.

The school academic year is from April to March. The session is divided into two terms. The duration of vacation is as under: Summer Vacation (6 weeks), First week of June to first week of July. Winter Vacation, (2 weeks) December end to second week of Jan. In addition to summer and winter vacations, there is one midterm (Diwali) break for 6 days in October.

Besides regular tests, there are examinations at the end of each term to assess the child's progress. Cumulative marks of all tests, on the basis of weightage, determine the progress and promotion of the child. Promotion in all classes will depend upon the marks/Grade achieved throughout the year. Four Formative Assessments (Two assessments in each term) and two Summative Assessments (One Assessment in each term) will be held in a year. Weightage will be given as under:
FA 1 10%, -- FA 2 10%, -- FA 3 10%, -- FA 4 10%, -- SA 1 30%, -- SA 2 30%


Should have attained the prescribed minimum percentage in the aggregate of all the subjects.
A student who fails to qualify for promotion will be detained in the same class if he/she does not become more than a year above the average age of the class. Withdrawal will be required if a student fails to qualify for promotion of two consecutive years in the same class. The Principal reserves the right to detain a student in the same class.
